Speak nothing of the shadows
While we trundle in the sun
For summer beams blow scarlet leaves
Through fall and winter's love.
Forget the wrinkles skewed across
The earthly freckled past
And simmer in the solace
Of a soul made free at last

trapped within love's walls?
i can find no better fate
chain me to the wall

Doc

The doctor is dead
Who now will fix the fingers
He forgot to fix?

Unfair

Oh how can one man
So much wretched tiredness feel
When life is so short?

Hearts

Clinging tight to love
Our hearts in synchrony beat
Till one heart murmurs

Dependency

Fix me good and right
As if my life depended
On dependency

Fears

Fear of lightning bolts
Volts and volts of frightening bolts
Meter all your fears

HSO

Humiliation
Superficiality
Opportunity

Belief

Belief is madness
If a leaf you aim to be
Please don't be a leaf

Separation

Separation hurts
Just ask my left hand's cousin
Left hand once removed

Bodysome

Some body you are
Are you somebody's body?
Nobody's some body

Cooled joystick

Burns like peppered pins
All the moves come at a price
Wish my hands were cool

as time passes by
beauty forms between wrinkles
our love has survived
forgive my manners
i haven't eaten in days
please pass the ketchup

i shifted slightly
and it squeezed right out of me
what an awful smell

Bread

Before I had bread
I had a loaf for a head
Now I feel toasty

Leverage

I hardly knew it
But I was losing leverage
As someone lost me

forgive me my dear
my lips are far to dusty
to taste this lost love

As morning breaks I am alone
Steaming and beaming a mid-morning toll
The dew befell me and the sun was shone
My heart now empty, soul forlorn.
The breath of the blossoms besought to console
"With thee we will be" the songbirds sweetly sang
Yet as I search skyward all things seem askew
And harrowed my marrow with memories of June.
Flashes of blue and gold panged upon my mind
With wonders and visions of most every kind
While deep in the bowels I was burning with whim
And bursting with sizzle in each of my limbs.
"Take heed" said the flowers whilst slowly the bloomed
"The moon is unearthing, so wisp while we croon"
So I unearthed my knees and left the land well
While I stumbled through heaven
While searching for hell.
