Remember Sweet Dotty, Covered in Dew

Remember sweet Dotty, Covered in dew
Remember the deeds she once made us do?
Look at her now, ripe on the vine
How she once starved us when she was alive
And think of her now as you taste what she grew
The pain that she caused us, though nobody knew
And feel her petitions in the leaves now exerting
Her hands never knew how to touch without hurting
And wherever you go, let caution confine you
Lest she and her seed should in solitude find you
For that which you tasted shall serve you too true
To remember sweet Dotty, now coming for you
